I can’t stress enough on the importance of knowing that fitness goes beyond just physical appearance and capabilities. When you exercise and push yourself in the gym or at home or wherever you can, you are strengthening the building blocks of your personality. Is it a coincidence that those who give there all in the gym are filled with enthusiasm and confidence? Not entirely! Fitness models and body builders may have great bodies but underneath it all they have developed a sense fulfillment from committing to something.

I talk a lot about motivation because it is the foundation for a better and healthier life, but self-motivation is a different journey. I enjoy learning what motivates people and teaching them how to execute on those factors. Material and physical goals are only going to get you but so far; that is if you want more. Become the type of person who could have everything in the world you could dream of and still want more from yourself, these people are far more likely to succeed and be happier in the long run.

This lesson is courage. When you are faced with challenges that seem impossible are you going to shy away from them? Or will you humbly embrace them as an opportunity? Being different is in no way a bad thing, think of how many people reach greatness compared to how many of those who don’t. So what do you want to accomplish? Where do you want to be? What will you do to get there? Envision this in depth with details.

Eventually you will have to come back to reality, but I will welcome you back with knowledge and an idea of what it will take to ‘form your own’. Use this as motivation, it might sound like a crazy person talking or crazy enough that it might work, but know that the same urge you have of what seems impossible are the same feelings and thoughts that will lead to actions, which will take you where you need to go if you let it.

Encouragement: The act of trying to stimulate the development of an activity, state or belief.
